Description
“I don’t want you, little one. I need you. I crave you. My life means nothing without you, but I don’t deserve you.” – Quasim
Ezmira
As much as she loves dancing with her troupe, Ezmira no longer finds joy in traveling the universe. She longs for a place to call home, so despite the opulence surrounding her as they perform at the Raptyre palace, she escapes into the garden for a moment alone.
When a gravelly voice emerges from the darkness, she’s drawn to the male hiding in the shadows, and even when he kidnaps her, she doesn’t fear him like she should.
He demands she dance for him, and when she does, the look of rapture on his scarred face steals her heart. She sees beyond his savaged flesh to the wounded soul underneath, and wants nothing more than to love him.
Until her heat hits and she ruins everything by taking too much.
Quasim
Broken from his enemy’s cruelty, Quasim hides away in the most dangerous and decrepit city in the known universe until he’s called home to his best friend’s coronation ceremony. When the beauty on stage carries away his agony with her lithe grace, he longs to watch her dance every day for the rest of his life.
So when he overhears a group of alphas planning to hurt her in the garden, he overreacts and whisks her away to the only place he knows she’s safe. His den.
Until she goes into heat and proves he’s the biggest danger of all.

“I want every part of you, Ezmira. With you, I have no control. No limits. You’ve pulled my broken pieces back together and fused them with your soul.”
An omega dancer with light in her soul and a damaged warrior that lives in pain in the shadows ,a reckless kidnapping,a sudden heat and the talent of V.T.Bonds and Leann Ryans makes this beautiful tale an absolute MUST READ!.

This book was my favorite of the series. Quasim was amazing. He had such a character build. Ezmira was amazing in not giving up and trying to help Quasim. My favorite part was the ending, especially after what Ursuli had done…

This is a retelling of a popular fairy-tale story and a re-release. Although, this fairy-tale is not one I’m crazy about, this retelling is definitely one I’m liking a whole lot better. I was rather intrigued with the our Alpha hero, Quasim, when he was mentioned in the previous books in the series. The Omega heroine, Ezmira definitely has an interesting life. She found a way around her dynamic with other like minded people who won’t do anything they aren’t willing to get into. And although our heroine initially needed the saving, I liked that she was the one doing the saving in the end. All in all, a win-win situation. Definitely a great addition to this series and worth the read, whether you are in it for the fairy-tale retelling or you are an OV fan.
