Love, love these short and spicy gems! This author creates great alpha and omega characters. And I love that no matter how “alpha,” cold, controlling and demanding the male character is, by the end, he finds his heart in his omega and does his utmost to care for her. Definitely panting here for the next book!

A quick read, but full of heart. Iris is doing her best to protect her little brothers from their abusive father when they are effectively rescued by Aft, who has his own reasons to hate him. It’s a bit more gory than previous books in the series, but thankfully the violence doesn’t last long. It’s sweet how Aft dotes on Iris, despite his original intention to punish her for her father’s misdeeds.

Aft has his reasons for claiming the Omega that smells like heaven but during the violence of their meeting, he finds that Iris may be worth more than his thirst for revenge.

Iris won’t make their joining easy on him and he has no plans to back down. The more these two find common ground and spend time together, the more they realize they may be each other’s missing pieces.

Broken by the Battleship may have been 80% smut but the plot was enough to create a world of violence and intrigue. I loved Iris and her ferocity. I loved Aft and his controlling yet sweet disposition towards Iris. While the story is in the same world as the previous books, this story had enough differentiation that I didn’t feel like I was reading anything recycled. V.T. Bonds does a fantastic job at writing smutty Omegaverse with heat and heart.

I loved Iris and Aft’s story, unlike the other books in the series this one is centered more on a CNC dynamic. Iris acts like she doesn’t want Aft but is the one to push the bonding along. I loved the fact that the FMC was the one to take charge when it came to claiming her mate. This is something I don’t see a lot of in omegaverse books and it’s refreshing when an author changes things up a little.

Another great captivating short spicy read, that I throughly enjoyed. Well written, good characters. This is the 5th book in the knottiverse, it can be read as a stand alone. All of the series is short an spicy about alpha’s hell bent on revenge only to find there omega mates.

Aft and Iris are by far my favourite waterworld couple. I loved these two are their feisty confrontations. Aft is an alpha out for revenge. Iris is the omega only interested in sheltering her younger brothers from the brutality of this post apocalyptic world. When Aft steals Iris away she fights him at every step.
His dubious consent alpha tendencies call to her omega and she finds a place with him amid his hoarded nesting materials.
I cannot get enough of these OTT alpha/omega quick reads. V.T.Bonds creates this crazy world of water and survival and these domineering alpha giants. You find yourself swept away in the hormones of it all. We all know in reality we’d kick these alphas in the balls. But for a bit of novella steamy escapism they are fun and satisfying reads.

OH WOW this was the best series of this Omega romance in the story of Aft and Iris are by far my favourite waterworld couple. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Aft was an alpha and he was out for revenge. It was dominated and brutality of this post apocalyptic and Iris trying to protect his brother in this world. Aft walked in all his red glory..green eyes and red hair..all I could think of was Irish heritage, and locked Iris in. He was out for revenge and ended up with a family and a connection so profound that it wiped his historical revenge out. I love how he recognized Iris’ fight and fore and how those boys became her children no longer her brothers.

Her father has done some stupid things but stealing and killing the Battleship’s family is the worst. She must guard her brothers. The Battleship (aka Aft) wants his revenge and he is going to extract his revenge on her. He takes everything, his sons and his omega daughter, telling her father he’s going to break them and make them suffer for his sins. You got to love the names, Aft, Reef, Sail. Then he gives Iris a very large knife and tells her to take it and do what she has always wanted. Aft grabs her and his men take the boys. Like the author said “it’s light on plot but very spicey”. Great short read! I definitely recommend this book.

Heart and Family. Battleship Alpha Aft & omega Iris w two young brothers; 10yr old Sail, 5yr old Reef. The fact that Iris’ Alpha father Gordon is a mean drunken bully who gets his just desserts is the best part. And family is the key factor for this story. Love the heart tender moments.

This is another hot read in the Alphas of the Waterworld series. I love how each woman is strong and stands up for herself while the alpha may be fearsome, he also has a heart. This couple’s story pulled me in and they have become my favorite of the series. This is a quick and hot read that is full of emotions and will have you believing in the power of love. Once again, the author gives us characters that you fall in love with as they fight for what they want.

Raw and gritty and straight to the point. This is a great addition to the series. I always know what I am getting out of this series and the author has not disappointed me at all.

Iris is familiar with alphas who throw their weight around and use their fists to make a point. She’s protected her brothers from her father her whole life. When Aft bests her father and takes her as his due, she’s got to do anything in her power to protect them still. I love how the author describes these books as little plot but a lot of spice. Sometimes that’s exactly what I need in a book. We get lots of alpha/omega yumminess. I loved how once they bonded Aft knew that Iris’ brothers were like her children and they immediately are under his protection. Good HEA.

This quick, intense read was impossible to put down! V.T. Bonds, known for Broken by the Battleship, promises “Light on plot, heavy on spice,” and she delivers spectacularly. Normally, I wouldn’t rate a book with a sparse plot five stars, but Bonds sets expectations perfectly, and the heat level, world-building, and character development are exceptional.
Set in a Waterworld-like dystopia, the story’s first part introduces us to a harsh, unforgiving world. The protagonist, a massive red-haired alpha known as Battleship, is on a relentless quest for revenge against the alpha who killed his parents. His plan is not only to exact a brutal death but also to claim and dominate his enemy’s omega daughter, Iris.
Iris’s life has been filled with hardship, aside from the solace she finds in her two younger brothers. Her ruthless father has driven her to a life of hatred and a fierce determination to protect her siblings at any cost.
This book was delightfully sinful. The chemistry between the main characters was electric. Both Battleship and Iris are fiercely loyal and protective, creating a captivating dynamic. The added heat made their relationship even more compelling. Each book by V.T. Bonds outdoes the last, with unique stories that consistently captivate me. The shift in Battleship’s priorities from revenge to love once he claims Iris was a brilliant touch. Iris’s dedication to her brothers added depth to her character, making her both relatable and admirable.
These novellas are short, spicy, and sweet in the end, and I absolutely adore them. I eagerly await each new release from this author, whose stories never fail to enchant me. With a focus on intense, dark omegaverse romance, Bonds creates a thrilling blend of possessive alpha behavior, reluctant omega dynamics, and a satisfying battle of wills leading to a Happily Ever After.

This was another one that I really enjoyed. I love how she’s able to make them each have things that stand out in them. I feel like the h was able to hold put longer, but also managed to have more trust for the H before the heat took over. I also enjoy how they were able to work out family dynamics. Can’t wait for her next book!

Broken by the Battleship is a great continuation of a fantastic water series! The story will leave you wanting more. I was hooked on this book from the start. A warrior without rules, a woman without hope, and a choice of love and death that could bind them together forever. The author built a wonderful world, full of detail, pain, love and strife. The characters were amazing and added to the depth of the story. I just loved them so much! There were just enough layers, and just when you thought something was resolved, someone came along and highjacked it. I was enamored from the first chapter, and I just couldn’t put it down. The story is fast paced, well written, and hot enough for the pages to catch on fire in this installment! I highly recommend. I guarantee you will love the adventure.

This was quick and enjoyable read. I like the story so much I wish it was a bit longer. I’m always looking for books with the FMC is already a mom or guardian to children. It brings another element in to the story giving it a more dynamic relationships. This story did a great job of incorporating the FMC fierce mama bear side.

Tide is a giant cinnamon roll of an alpha. He might be all growly and ‘my omega’ on the surface. But underneath the machismo he is a softie that has yearned for an omega and his own family. I enjoyed this softer side of the waterworld/knottiverse as you feel quote quickly that he is just happy to have found Pearl and now he wants to care for and protect her. I loved how well he tended to her and her injuries.
This series follows a well developed formula. Each alpha has his own quirks but they are all soft material hoarding, omega scenting, breeding kink beasts in this world of water and post apocalypse. I cannot get enough. Barge is another super spicy satisfying quick read set in this alpha/omega world.
